Sunday Evenings at Wheeler

Join us every Sunday night for worship. We typically begin with refreshments at 6:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center and we worship together at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Worship is contemporary and casual and is a great way to begin your week!

Children's Bible Club

We invite all children grades K-5 to join us at 5:30 PM on Sunday Evenings for our Childrens' Bible Club. It is a great time of fun, games, activities and Bible lessons.

Peanut Orders

It is time once again for the UM Women to offer peanuts. These make great gifts- just contact the church office at 323-7267 or any of the UM Women. Just let us know how many jars and whether you prefer salted or unsalted. The cost is $5.00 per jar.

An Invitation to
Young Adults

All “Twenty-Somethings” are invited to join us in Sunday School on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 A.M. in the Library. Please come and join us!

Music Opportunties
Chancel Choir- Rehearsal is           Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Gospel Choir-  Rehearses just prior to 9:00 a.m. service.
Young Voices of Wheeler Choir
    Rehearsal is Wednesday at 6:00p.m. Ages K-8.
Contemporary Worship Band and Praise Team rehearses on Mondays at 6:30 PM.

JOY FELLOWSHIP

The J.O.Y. Fellowship provides fellowship opportunitie for Just Older Youth who are 55 years and older. Sometimes we dine together at the church, sometimes we enjoy a program, sometimes we go on an outing. Call the church office for information on what is coming up!

United Methodist Women
The purpose of the United Methodist Women (UMW) is to know God through Jesus Christ; to develope a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand their mission to the 2nd Monday of each month at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler. The 5 UMW Circles meet at various times each month. The Circles seek to fulfill the UMW purpose through study and mutual support, by ministries to women, children, and youth in the local area, and through thier social action throughout the world. Projects include donating clothes to Jubilee Project for people in need, supporting a mission trip to build homes in Mexico, collecting food for families in need, preparing gifts for Greystone Nursing Home residents, and supporting the operating needs of the church and district.

United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men meet on the fourth Sunday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center for breakfast and a meeting. Their primary purpose is to be a supportive fellowship of men who seek to serve God and address the facility needs of the church.
